Iain Begg is a professor at the European Institute, London School of Economics and Political Science. His research focuses on the political economy of European integration and European Union economic governance. His current and recent projects have included work on the economic and social consequences of Brexit, reform of fiscal frameworks and different facets of the EU‘s finances.
Iain has been an adviser to both houses of the UK Parliament and to the European Parliament, and has carried out studies for various international organisations. He is a frequent contributor to international conferences, regularly posts blogs on topical economic policy matters, and is often solicited by print and broadcast media for interviews.
