Ketchum Global Partner Saskia Wallner is a lawyer turned communications consultant more than 25 years ago, when she embarked on her journey from the Austrian Constitutional Court and a position in Retail Banking to career-changing newbie at Publico, Austria’s then leading PR firm. She worked and grew on clients such as Erste Group, PwC, and McDonald’s, and developed a strong expertise and footprint in corporate, crisis, and change communications.
Saskia has taken over the role as CEO of Publico in 2010 and steered the organization through a painful and eventually very successful transformation to what is today: Ketchum, Austria’s leading international communication consultancy with the ambition to do work that matters and be a Force for Good for its clients, employees, and ownership (Omnicom Inc). In early 2025, she has been assigned additional responsibility as CEO of Ketchum’s operation in Brussels with another broad international and local client portfolio.
Saskia is reknowned to be a source of unlimited positive energy, and a strong promotor of female leadership, empowerment, and candid communication “in all forms and sizes”.
